I just left the test room to certify as a ZCE – Zend Certified Engineer.
After waiting a bit for my score and suffering like a condemned person for ninety minutes with seventy questions about the most obscure and hidden corners of PHP, I’m happy to say that I passed the exam and earned this valuable certification.
This is a great joy for me, as I consider it a milestone in my professional life. I’ve been working with PHP since 2001, when Marcos and I started developing a shopping cart. Eight years later, here we are—both of us (Marcos just finished as well and also got certified)—showing everything we’ve learned and proving that we can really work with this excellent tool.
I sincerely thank the company I work for, ECOM CHACO SA, for giving me the opportunity to take the certification, and my bosses, who trusted that I could pass it.
